Moosha-P Cambridge is the first cow to reappear in public since the Farewell Event, where she wasn’t present. She’s now in the Central Library, before going on a tour of other libraries. I’ve been able to get some better pictures of her there than when she was in the “Heard by the Herd” window display.Continue reading “Moosha-P”

The #Cattlelogue
My moovenir photo guide to Cows About Cambridge now has its own hashtag! All four pages about the cows (both galleries and walking trails) can now be found together on the #Cattlelogue page.
Cows About Cambridge Farewell Event
I’ve added some photos taken at the Cows About Cambridge Farewell Event to the Large Cows Gallery. They will be auctioned on 23rd September to raise money for Break. More photos may be added to the gallery if any of them are bought and displayed in public locations in Cambridge.
Mini-Moos and Micro-Moos
Two new Mini-Moos at the Cows About Cambridge Farewell Event, “Reims” and “Red Mini-Moo”, have been added to the Mini-Moos Gallery, along with some pictures of Micro-Moos 3D-printed by Xaar, who are the event’s sponsors. They’re holding a competition to name one. I came up with “The Just-In-Time Printouts of Moo-Moo” but I’ll never winContinue reading “Mini-Moos and Micro-Moos”
Dinky Doors Gallery
I’ve created a Dinky Doors Gallery page illustrating the Dinky Doors that can be seen around Cambridge, by the creators of the MooMoo-o-Tron III reconnaissance cow that was recently voted the favourite Cows About Cambridge cow. Don’t visit this page if you want to search for the Dinky Doors yourself, as it shows where theyContinue reading “Dinky Doors Gallery”
Site Updates
Having created the Galleries page for the Cows About Cambridge cows, I’ve split the Elizabeth Way Murals Gallery out from the Elizabeth Way Roundabout walk page, and added another gallery page for miscellaneous Public Art. I’ve noted on the Undeveloped Chalk Pits page that the planning application has been withdrawn and a modified application isContinue reading “Site Updates”
Cows About Cambridge – Gallery Additions
Last Friday, shortly before the large cows were herded off the streets of Cambridge, I walked around and revisited 35 of them. I’ve added some more pictures to the Large Cows Gallery. In some cases I was able to get better pictures because there were fewer people or obstructions (refreshment stall, pavement tables etc.) surroundingContinue reading “Cows About Cambridge – Gallery Additions”
Cows About Cambridge – Mini-Moos Gallery
I’ve added a Mini-Moos Gallery page, which contains four or five photos of each of the Mini-Moo sculptures on the Mini-Moos Trail, plus the one in the “Heard by the Herd” window display in the Grafton Centre. This page can be found via the Galleries page. The four Cows About Cambridge pages are now allContinue reading “Cows About Cambridge – Mini-Moos Gallery”
Cows About Cambridge – Large Cows Gallery
I’ve added a Large Cows Gallery page, which contains four or five photos of each of the cow sculptures on the Large Cows Trail, plus those in the “Heard by the Herd” window display in the Grafton Centre. This page can be found via the new Galleries page. Can you guess the location of theContinue reading “Cows About Cambridge – Large Cows Gallery”
Cows About Cambridge – Mini-Moos Trail
Following on from the Large Cows Trail, I’ve created a photographic record of the Cows About Cambridge Mini-Moos Trail and added it to the Walks page. This is the second of two sponsored walks that I’ve completed to raise money for the charity Break. Details of that can be found on my Just Giving page.Continue reading “Cows About Cambridge – Mini-Moos Trail”
