Cambridge Rules Sculpture

Four stones engraved with the original 1848 rules of football, much as adopted by the Football Association in 1863, in multiple languages. There are five more stones that have been sent to football-loving countries around the world.

Snowy Farr Sculpture

Memorial to Walter ‘Snowy’ Farr, a charity collector who fundraised in the Market Square, often with live animals. Depicts a cat and mice.

Sun and Sands

King’s College Chapel and St John’s College Bridge of Sighs carved out of sand, which were on display from from 10th July 2021 to 30th August 2021.

Mill Road Bridge Children’s Artwork

Three children’s artworks by two local primary schools and a nursery, unveiled at the 2019 Mill Road Winter Fair.

Romsey Railway Heritage Sculpture

This commemorates the Romsey district’s railway heritage. It takes the form of a double letter ‘R’ in the style of railway tracks. The front ‘sleepers’ are bronze plaques engraved with station and destination names significant to local people.

Hercules Meets Galatea

This depicts an encounter between two Greco-Roman characters.
